Type Tasting Experiments

We are super jealous of all the lucky people in the UK who get to experience the great exhibitions and events of London Design Week. One of these events, Type Tasting, is run by type expert Sarah Hyndman to explore a series of multi-sensory games with type. The workshop plays out a series of interactive games and experiments to show you that typefaces do more than just simply transmit words: they trigger our imaginations, turn words into stories before our very eyes, evoke our emotions, prompt memories and interact with all of our senses. We completely understand the emotional impact typography can have on us and all audiences and hope someday Sarah comes to Melbourne to show everyone just how strong that effect can be.
